New Hall of Life at Museum of Nature and Science

One hot afternoon this summer we went to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. They have redone the hall of life and it took us 4 times to pick a day to go that had times open to go and see it. Brittany and I took the kids. We had heard about the aging machine and were excited to see ourselves looking 70 years old. The line was really long and Brittany took the kids to play and look at other things while I stood in line. They have a T.V. hanging on the wall that shows everybody your results. It was interesting to see everyone before me until one girl (young and pretty) did it and did not look so pretty- I don't know why but right there I decided I was standing in line for Brittany- she could do it:) Then it was close to our turn and Brittany came back with the kids- she saw someones results and said Nope not gonna do it. So we thought lets see if it will read Mikayla's face and then we can see what she will look like! It did and wow it is weird how it works- I still don't think I will put my face in there but I would like to see other people I know do it- here is Mikayla's face at age 45 and at 70

So then we went to look at the rest of the exhibits and I was standing in line for this one that you walk across the floor and it gives you information about your walk. I did not see where Seth was and I turned to look at the t.v.s behind me and I saw this little kid that looked just like Seth I asked Brittany if that was him and she said yes- he saw another kid walk through and he just took off- I felt bad for the person he cut in front of but it is amazing how real it is! Sorry it is blurry- it moves for the next person to be on the screen. Seth is the middle and Mikayla is on the right!

Next we went to play in the activity room and they had a huge wall of little sticks that you can put things in on one side and you see the image on the other- I don't know the name:( But here are Mikayla and Seth's faces:

We had a great time and I can't wait to go back and play with all of the other exhibits!

Oh I wish you guys would have done it! Its scary but fascinating. I was just glad that I didn't look like my mother. I did sun damage as my other one and holy cow sunscreen me up please!!!

I think the kids are more interesting though!
