Cute words from cute kids!

This is so cute that I want to remember it forever and posting it here will help me do that! My problem is that everyday they take turns making me laugh and I wish I would put it up here so I could look back when I need a good laugh.

Mikayla has been wondering about how our bodies work and why. Everything is WHY!!! So we thought we would take her to see the Body Worlds exhibit and show her what our bodies look like on the inside. She was doing really well and I think actually learning something! The biggest thing she really was interested in was Blood. And that it is everywhere. I usually tell her that she can't have a band aid unless she is bleeding. Well all through the exhibit she would say "Where is his Bleed"
And yesterday she touched the hot pan after I told her No, and wanted a band aid and said "No Bleed is coming out but I need one"
And then when Daddy came home she told him all about it and said "I sure did a good job Daddy, I got it good."
Another one was when Brittany was over and was telling Mikayla that she and Mowgli (her Dog) were going to stay at our house while we go see Mickey Mouse. Mikayla was really excited! So Britt asked her if he could sleep in Mikayla's room and she said "He sure Can"
One that I am not so proud of, but makes me laugh on the inside is I asked her to find something and I said "Where is it Mikayla, we need to find it" and she said "I don't freaking know Mom!"
Kids really do say the funniest things!

Stock Show Fun

We it is that time of year again! The rodeo is back. I was really excited to go this year because Seth is old enough to really watch and get excited to see the animals. Mikayla is excited for the cotton candy! This year we went with Loren, Amanda, Maria, Luis, Grandma Jenni, Papa Paul, Uncle Brandon and our friend Jon. The kids had a great time. They got to pet cows, pigs, goats, rabbits, horses, and chickens. Seth was so excited. Mikayla tried talking to all of them- and one time a Sheep answered back and she thought that was the coolest thing ever. For the rest of the night she would say "Mama did you hear that sheep? He said Baa Baa just like me" Seth also learned some new things- He now says "Baa Baa" when you ask him what a sheep says and he says "Horse". It is amazing how fast they can catch onto things when they are really excited about it.

Of course Mikayla got her cotton candy, and popcorn, and gummy worms, and so much junk it was amazing that she slept that night! Grandma and Papa spoiled her rotten! She also got a little Cat that she named Popo. He came in a little cage too. She still is playing with him and asking him about the animals. Seth thinks it is a sheep and just says "baa baa"!
Luckily No Cowboys were hurt really bad! Only one was kicked in the head and he got up and walked back to safety. The girls kicked but in the mutton busting! they all held on for life, but one little boy set a new record with 97points. It was really cute. I think Seth would be great at it. We will just have to tell him it is like riding a motorcycle!
We had a really good time and can't wait for it to come back next year!
