So Billy and I went shopping for Christmas presents, and did not have very good luck. I hope Santa has it much easier. We were looking for a very specific gift that was in the add and 3 different people told us they had them and took us to a place where they would be and then showed us a different item. I was so frustrated, I took the kids out of the cart and left it in the middle of the isle full of gifts. That's what they get for not listening to the customer. I almost called to talk to the manager but I knew that wouldn't help the problem because I was so mad all I would do is yell and then people tend to tune me out and it doesn't go anywhere except to make me even more upset. So the next day I was going to try again and this time I called ahead to make sure they had them, and of course they have a "few" and they can't hold them for me and if I want one I have to go today. So I pack the sick kids up and of course there is an accident so it takes us forever to get to the store. I had to Feed Seth and then hope that the stupid thing is there. I go in to the store and go to where it should be and of course it is not there. I ask for help and one person takes me to another person who takes me to one more person who looks it up on the computer and says they have them, I ask where and they take me to where I started and one the end cap they have a ton of items that you pick the slip up and take it to the check out and you ask and pay for it there. 20 Minutes later I finally got it. Poor Mikayla was so sick she didn't even notice that we were at toys r us. Next year I am starting early. I felt like I was shopping the day before Christmas, not 3 weeks before.
I am glad that Santa makes all of his toys because I think he would quit if he had to do what we do!!!
So I was disappointed that this early people are so upset, I thought it was the season to be merry and bright. All it takes is one scrooge to ruin the crowd. I hope people get the Christmas cheer soon:) I guess I will have to start now with a smile shared with all of you!!
