Well I told everyone I would put up pictures of the fireplace! well it is almost finished! It has been to cold to paint it but it is up and finished! I want to make it dark brown/black like the bookcase
we have next to it. I want to paint the walls a Brown and then get a dark teal accessories. That will be some day soon I hope! I was going to be over the holidays but then we all got the stomach flu:( Yuck!! So anyways here is the fire place!

Next was the kitchen sink- we had gotten a new sink a while ago but our faucet was ok- but now it was time for a new one the old one had a broken handle and was starting to leak a little bit. So after much negotiations between Billy and I we picked one out. I went to the store to get it and of course I could not find it. The guy who came to help was very "Gruff" and not a lot of help- he told me what was up there was wrong- they did not have anything like that for that price. So I said "well that is not my Fault, that is the one I want for that Price" so he handed me a torn piece of notebook paper that said $138.00 And his initials. So I got a $208 faucet for $138!! Sometimes it pays to stand up for what is right- well I think it is right they had their signs wrong!! So the good news is it took longer to get it home then it did to get it installed thanks to
Billy! I love how little things can make you like your house again!!
